Puerto de San Juan Resort @ San Juan, La Union (Video)

Check out my latest video edit. I created the video using the FilmoraGo app.

This was on my last trip to La Union in August 2017. We had so much fun in the water and it felt like we privately rented the entire theme park. We brought some food and drinks, my aunt had to pay extra charge for that. Despite the extra charge, we all had a blast. The food was great, the pool was fun and the company was amazing. I did regret staying under the sun for too long. I had sunburn and I’m too tan now.

Thor: Ragnarok Official Trailer

I wanted to post something relevant today, but, I just have nothing to say. I haven’t done anything these past few weeks but study. I’m still waaaay behind my reading challenge in Goodreads and I still haven’t seen Spiderman: Homecoming. I haven’t even seen Wonderwoman yet. I’ll probably just wait for the DVD.

So many exciting stuff came out during the San Diego Comic Con this year. I don’t have a bucket list (yet), if I do, going to the SDCC will be one of them. I’m a huge Marvel fan, and I think meeting other fans and the stars on comic con will be really cool. Anyway, I watched the Thor: Ragnarok official trailer and it looks so good. I am excited to see the film on November.

What I do when I’m on vacation

Happy Monday!

I woke up early today for no reason and while everyone is sleeping I opened my phone and browsed through my picture gallery. I went out with friends and family recently so I do have a lot of selfies and group pictures. However, what I find really funny (and a little bit horrifying) is the amount of food pictures I have! I realized that I am eating a LOT these days, and I am starting to be afraid of my growing waistline. It’s going to be a real b!tch to lose weight when my vacation is over. Sigh. Here are some of the photos I saved:

When I’m not outside hanging out with friends, I mostly stay home and read. There are a lot of good books that came out this January and here are the few that I read and enjoyed:

The Mistake by Elle Kennedy
Built by Jay Crownover
Big Rock by Lauren Blakely
Appealed by Emma Chase
Happily Ever Ninja by Penny Reid

I also loved Elizabeth Hunter’s Irin Chronicles Christmas special: On A Clear Winter Night. I am an avid fan of Hunter’s new BenZin novella which she posts weekly on her blog for free! I can’t wait to read the conplete version of Imitation and Alchemy!

Well, I hope you guys have a great day ahead today! I’ll go back to bed since it’s still early and I’m still on vacation! Woohoo!

DAY 21: Family Dinner at Mang Inasal

With my family.

After 10 days of continuous travel, I was finally home. However, as soon as I woke up, my mother reminded me to visit the dentist. Since I will be busy on the next few days (again), I agreed to go. Unfortunately, all four dental clinics that we visited were close! I have no clue why, maybe the dentists have jobs somewhere else? This is in Rodriguez Rizal area. So, we decided to go to Cubao instead where there are lots of dental clinics that are open. After the dental stuff, we then went to Puregold Cubao to have dinner. We were going to meet my cousin Ate Lorna Fe, whom I haven’t seen in ages! My mom sent her a message earlier so that we can meet up at Puregold.

We chose to dine at Mang Inasal because of their unlimited rice. It was already late and we were quite hungry. As expected, the Chicken Inasal was a huge hit.

When my cousin arrived, I ordered food for her and we started catching up. We used to be neighbors but when I left the country in 2011, my parents moved to Rizal. So, I haven’t heard much from them since then. It was really fun seeing her again, my only regret was that I wasn’t able to visit their house in Bulacan to see my niece and nephew. Maybe I’ll do that on my next vacation, hopefully on 2015! =)

BTW, I made a video of our trip to La Union and Pangasinan. My sister asked me to do it, so here it goes:

Thanks you so much for dropping by! Have a great day ahead!

Day 7: Rainy Wednesday Morning

Hi everyone! I woke up early today to update my blog, and it was cold and raining. Good thing I didn’t plan anything today. It’s nice to just stay in and laze around the house. Anyway, the reason I’m blogging early is because I would like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who voted for my book trailer on the book trailer making contest hosted and sponsored by Schmexy Girl Book Blog and Ms. Kennedy Ryan.

Thank you so much! I won the book trailer making contest because of you all! I’d love to do this again given the right materials (I saw another book trailer making contest but the book isn’t my cup of tea). Thank you for your support and please feel free to spread the video. When You Are Mine is Kennedy Ryan’s debut novel and the sequel will be out on October!

When You Are Mine

When You Are Mine

Synopsis:

Forever is a heartbeat away . . .

Kerris Moreton knows how to make things work. Bounced from foster home to foster home as a kid, she adapted; when opportunity arose, she thrived. Now, about to open her own business and accept a marriage proposal, Kerris is ready to build the life she’s always wanted. The only thing missing? A passionate connection with her would-be fiancé, Cam. Kerris wants to believe that sparks are overrated-until Walsh Bennett lights her up like the Fourth of July.

. . . but what about love?

As one of the East Coast’s most eligible bachelors, Walsh enjoys financial independence, fulfilling work with his family’s nonprofit, and plenty of female attention. But lately he’s been distracted by the one woman he can’t have. Lovely to look at and even sweeter to know, Kerris is the soul mate Walsh never thought he would find. The problem is, his best friend found her first . . .

Each secret moment with Walsh Bennett serves to remind Kerris of what she’s missing. And every stolen hour makes it harder to see her future without him. But being with Walsh would betray a sacred promise and upend her perfect life. When tragedy strikes, the razor’s edge between love and loyalty grows sharper than ever.
